How do I access services?
All services can be accessed by contacting us directly in person or by phone/e-mail.
Some programs require eligibility screening and/or referral from an outside agency. We can help you with that process.
Do I have to be Catholic?
No. We serve all people of the Battlefords and area regardless of religious affiliation.
What is counselling exactly?
Counselling helps people live their best life. Clients and counsellors work together to explore and resolve personal difficulties and create positive change. Clients make their own choices, reach their own decisions and act on them with their counsellor's support.
Is school counselling free?
All of our school-based services are offered free of charge.
What do you charge?
Many of our programs and services are available free of charge. We do not deny services to anyone based on their economic situation. If there is a fee for service, it is determined using a sliding scale based on income and number of dependents. Some employers, insurance providers or benefit packages cover counselling services.
Are your counsellors registered?
All of our counsellors are registered with their respective professional bodies, as applicable.
How long do I have to wait to get in?
We respond to requests for service as quickly as possible giving priority to urgent circumstances. Under Employee Assistance Programs, services are offered within 48 business hours.
